Focus on Artificial Intelligence: Can Algorithms Improve the Quality of Treatment?
What role will big data, deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI) play in the healthcare system of the future? How can they assist doctors in their day-to-day work? And what prospects do AI-supported systems offer for medical research?
From 17 to 19 April conhIT – Connecting Healthcare IT will be devoting itself to the topic of artificial intelligence. At the Congress session entitled ’Intelligent Technology in Hospitals – The Convergence of Medical Technology and IT’, experts will look ahead to the future and present solutions where conventional IT will evolve using artificial intelligence, robotics, ubiquitous computing and sensing systems.
At the Startup Café, which for the first time at conhIT offers new companies a platform for presentations, a number of pitches will deal with artificial intelligence.

mobile health ZONE: Take Part in Creative Formats and Meet Really Innovative Startups
Be it a smartphone or tablet for documenting pain, or an app for listening to quality music despite a hearing disability, mobile healthcare solutions are becoming more and more important, as they contribute decisively to a patient’s well-being and can improve hospital processes and the relationship between doctors and patients.
An extensive special programme of events at the mobile health ZONE will have information on the latest industry developments and innovations.
Among the highlights will be a session on 19 April entitled ‘Startups on Stage’, at which six exhibitors from the Startup Café representing outstanding projects will each deliver a 5-minute presentation on their findings.
